As our inaugural Kimberley cruising season draws to a close, we’re eagerly anticipating the next adventure on our itinerary. In early October, Eclipse will set sail south to discover the pristine and largely untouched waters of the Montebello Islands. Eclipse is proud to be the only vessel of its kind, pioneering luxury charter Montebello Islands experiences and joining an exclusive group of vessels that visit this remarkable area each year.
This enchanting island group is found 120km west of Dampier, 50km offshore Onslow and encompasses 174 islands, 90 of which are named. These islands form a marine conservation reserve of more than 58,000 hectares providing an abundance of opportunities for adventure, close encounters with nature and blissful solitude. Untouched by recent human influence the islands abound with marine and terrestrial life above and below the waters . Flocks of migratory birds, nesting turtles and whales on their long coastal journeys are our regular companions.
