After an epic 42 day crossing of the Indian Ocean, our brand new pride and joy Eclipse arrived safely to West Australian shores.
Excitement and emotions were high as we watched her sail through the Gage Roads passage and into the Fremantle Sailing Club on a clear Autumn morning.
With customs cleared and the delivery crew safely accounted for, it was time to step onboard, with many of our crew meeting her for the first time. “I was utterly speechless after stepping aboard, she is even more spectacular than I had imagined,” said Chef Will of the experience.
Eclipse sails into Fremantle
Soon it was time to celebrate and usher in the beginning of Eclipse’s journey north to the Kimberley and all her adventures ahead. What better way to celebrate the arrival of this dream come true than coming together with our nearest and dearest, valued partners and tourism industry heavyweights at an official launch function?
It was a balmy blissful afternoon at the Blue HQ marina in Fremantle when our guests came together to enjoy shared experiences that inspired and delighted. Tastebuds were tantalised with local seafood delights prepared by Chef Will. Our incredible vineyard partners Cherubino and Woodlands presented an exceptional range of varietals and our friends at Old Bridge Cellars supplied a wide range of West Australian beers for guests to enjoy.

Scheduled small groups were invited to come onboard Eclipse with John, Ryan and Jackson guiding their discovery and answering their many burning questions. The vessel was abuzz with excitement with all who came aboard delighted with her unique design features, spacious floor plan, functionality, systems and stylishly accentuated interior. The sailors amongst the guests were impressed with her powerful rig, eco-focused power systems and custom deck features. All aboard were excited to experience the multiple alfresco areas and we were hard-pressed to keep the groups moving so the next tour could begin.
We are grateful to all those who joined us to celebrate and enjoy unforgettable moments that will become lifelong memories for our team. With Eclipse now on our shores and her arrival having been announced in style , now comes the exciting time of sailing into our first charter season commencing in the Kimberley in just a few short weeks.
