Our second season sailing the Kimberley, in our own way, was nothing short of extraordinary. We welcomed families, friends, and couples who joined us to share momentous and moving experiences in this wild and magnificent part of the world.

Thanks to Eclipse’s clever design, her sustainable upgrades, and the deep local knowledge of our crew, guests enjoyed rare and intimate access to remote corners of the Kimberley, experiencing Australia’s last true frontier with respect and minimal impact.
From pancakes on a tidal sand island at Montgomery Reef to champagne in a freshwater billabong above King Cascade, we guided travellers to marvel at both iconic sights and hidden corners, each revealed in their own unique way.

Immense late season rains in May brought our waterways to historic levels, with cascades thundering more powerfully than we had never seen. Barramundi leapt in abundance, waterfalls poured endlessly, and the landscape itself felt alive in celebration.
We welcomed our first international guests, including a couple from North America who chartered Eclipse exclusively to savour quiet moments together in one of the world’s last true wildernesses. When asked if he needed anything, Joe would simply smile and say, “I’m happy, I’ve got everything I need.” Having travelled the world extensively, they shared with us that their Eclipse voyage was truly world-class.
Time and again, strangers stepped aboard and left as friends, carrying home lifelong memories. One group of guests, who had never met before, are already planning their return together. Our chef’s cuisine was so beloved that guests joked about taking him home, and our voyage attendants were so adored they received playful offers of adoption.

Many chose to make the journey uniquely theirs by customising their private voyage itineraries. One group arrived via seaplane from Broome, soaring over the Horizontal Falls before touching down in Dugong Bay to embark on Eclipse.
We also had the privilege of celebrating milestones at sea. A guest’s 50th birthday was joyfully shared with her sister, revealed as a surprise companion. Another couple marked their 40th wedding anniversary in true style, toasting their enduring love beneath Kimberley skies.

As the season drew to a close, nature gifted us a final dreamlike encounter: a pod of five humpback whales danced around Eclipse for half an hour, leaving our guests in awe of such unfiltered magic.
This season was a collection of moments both grand and intimate, shaped by nature, guided by discovery, and elevated by connection.
We are deeply grateful to every guest who chose to journey with us. Until next season, may the memories you carry continue to ripple with wonder.
